I’m always looking for the next best thing in skin care. I want the best and latest science to help my skin look clearer and brighter — and feel smoother. That’s why I’m always on the hunt on Sephora’s website, scrolling through the “Just Dropped” page. The page includes all the newest skin, hair and makeup products to launch at the retailer.
Some of it is just new to Sephora — not necessarily new in the world — but I can’t wait to try many of these brand-new products. The new section is actually broken up into seven categories: Just Dropped, Makeup, Skin Care, Fragrance, Bath and Body, Hair and Tools and Brushes. While Just Dropped has everything that’s quite literally brand-spankin’ new, the other sections showcase products that launched within the last two months or so.
Want to try something new? Take a look below at five of the best new things you can get from Sephora, and take a look online to see all the freshest finds.
1. Rare Beauty Brow Harmony Flexible Lifting and Laminating Eyebrow Gel, $17
Maybe this was already in the works, or maybe Selena Gomez is just poking fun at that laminated eyebrow drama she had with Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner. Either way, we’re glad her beauty brand is finally making an eyebrow gel to lift and lay brows in place all day long. It’s waterproof, too, so you could use it before you take any end-of-summer trips to the beach or the pool.
2. Sol de Janeiro After Hours Perfume Mist, $24
You probably think of sweet vanilla and salted caramel scents when you think of Sol de Janeiro products, but its latest perfume mist is a floral scent perfect for fall. The After Hours fragrance has notes of black currant, midnight jasmine and amber woods, according to the product description.
3. bareMinerals Original Pure Serum Radiant Natural Liquid Foundation Mineral SPF 20, $44
BareMinerals is well-known for its natural-looking foundations that cater to sensitive skin types. Its latest foundation is a serum with an SPF 20 that looks and feels light on your face. It offers medium coverage and contains hyaluronic acid and water lily extract to soothe and moisturize skin.
4. Drunk Elephant B-Goldi Bright Illuminating Drops with 5% Niacinamide, $38
You’ve probably heard of Drunk Elephant’s viral bronzing drops, and these are its next iteration. However, instead of giving you a subtle tan, they’ll give you some major glow. The drops have a champagne shimmer color that you can mix into your regular moisturizer. According to the product description, they can help improve dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles, the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven texture and skin firmness.
5. JVN Nurture Intense Hydration Hair Mask, $34
This hydrating hair mask comes from Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness. According to the product description, the mask and all JVN products contain an ingredient called Hemisqualane, which improves and strengthens hair while detangling and adding shine. The mask also contains Keratris, a vegan alternative to keratin. The result is stronger, healthier and shinier hair. Use this mask if you have heat damage, split ends or just want to give your locks some extra hydration.
