Polish President Andrzej Duda has expressed a strong desire for an increased U.S. presence in Poland and Central Europe during a meeting with President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Duda emphasized the importance of strengthening security in the region. "President Trump indicated his receptiveness to boosting the U.S. presence in relation to Poland," Duda stated.

Despite concerns about Trump's recent public statements regarding Ukraine, Duda remained optimistic. He noted that Trump expressed interest in supporting Ukraine's stability, including through economic ties.

Following the meeting, the White House highlighted the close relationship between the U.S. and Poland. The statement praised Poland's commitment to increasing defense spending, which aligns with Trump's priorities.
