The White Lotus Season 3: Ke Huy Quan's Unforgettable Voiceover Cameo
The all-star cast of The White Lotus Season 3 gained another illustrious name in episode 2, with none other than Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once) lending his voice to a memorable cameo.
Quan portrays Kenneth Nguyen, the former business partner of Timothy Ratliff (Jason Isaacs), who is embroiled in a shady investigation in Brunei. Quan's uncredited role delivers a pivotal phone call towards the end of the episode, where he informs Timothy that the FBI has raided his house and implicated him in the probe. Kenneth's chilling advice: "Get a lawyer."
This is not the first time The White Lotus creator Mike White has tapped Oscar winners for voiceover cameos. In Season 2, Laura Dern (Marriage Story) voiced Abby, Dominic Di Grasso's (Michael Imperioli) wife, delivering a heartbreaking performance over the phone.
Beyond these noteworthy guest appearances, White has also made a habit of casting his fellow Survivor: David vs. Goliath castmates in quick cameos. With each new episode, viewers eagerly anticipate spotting familiar faces or hearing distinctive voices from the popular reality show.
